Adult High School Diploma Program

The Adult High School Diploma program offers students the chance to complete the credits needed to earn a high school diploma from Chatham County Schools, Harnett County Schools, or Lee County Schools. A minimum of 15 high school credits with 9 core credits and 6 electives is required to enroll in the program.  

Upon completion of required credits, students will earn an adult high school diploma. 

Please Note: Adult High School Transcript requests cannot be fulfilled at this time.

Our Adult High School transcripts are currently being converted to electronic files to better serve our Adult High School alumni. We anticipate having this process completed soon. Please check back in the coming couple of weeks to make your request.

Get started today:

  • Classes are free!
  • A sealed official transcript from each previous high school attended is required before beginning coursework in our Adult High School Diploma program.
  • Our staff will evaluate your transcript(s) to determine how many credits you already have earned and how many are required for completion of your high school diploma.
  • Classes are offered online only.
  • Minors, 16 or 17 years of age, must complete the Minor Release Information Packet prior to attending a registration session.

Graduation ceremonies, complete with cap and gown, are held in the summer.
