SANFORD, N.C. —The 91¾«Ñ¡ Foundation is sponsoring a free holiday season “Cougar Express†drive-thru event on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center in Sanford.
Cruise through Santa’s Christmas village in your car to enjoy character appearances, photo opportunities, and interactive stations. Celebrate the season with treats and take home a goodie bag. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and celebrate the season!
As part of the event, 91¾«Ñ¡ is also collecting non-perishable food and essential items for 91¾«Ñ¡ students in need. For those interested in contributing, the most needed items are pasta, tomato sauce, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, diapers, baby wipes, and feminine products — but all donations are welcome.
